Volunteer at Charity Concert

On march 30th I assisted as volunteer at the charity concert 'Rynkerock 2012' throughout the night (from 18:00-24:00).The profit of the concert is issues to the children's cancer foundation (børnecancerfonden). http://events.minbegivenhed.dk/event/3502624104 
My goal for this activity was primarily to assist a good cause, but also to strengthen my skills in team coordination, in this particular case with people I have just encountered, and who are far older than me.

OD 2011

The project operation dagsværk is helping to give the Indian children and young people in the Amazon an education that is tailored to their own culture, and also provide environmental education. They are then able to handle the environmental and human problems as the oil industry they are leading, and creating a better future. The project will also support the Native American organizations to influence companies and authorities, as the Indians' rights are respected and pollution reduced. The project is tailored to OD and has no other funding. Here is a unique opportunity to make a big difference to the Indian people of the Amazon.

School for Life in India

Life Education is an organization that is helping out a school in India with their financials and helps them develop new school material for the kids to learn english. The main point of this organization at Nyborg Gymnasium is to focus on developing new school material such as games for the kids at the school in India to learn english in a fun and creative way.

Amnesty Youth Group

The purpose is to start up an Amnesty Youth Group on Nyborg Gymnasium, which will continuously activities. 
The purpose of the group is to work against violations of the Human Rights Convention. This will be done mostly by collecting signatures on behalf of Amnesty International, and by writing letters to Danish and foreign politicians, suggesting that they should act upon the violations. 
This will benefit citizens all over the globe living in a country where human rights are not respected. Concretely, this can be by the release or possibility for fair trials of political prisoners, or changing of laws, that violate human rights. 
The activities of the group will be performed both inside and out of school.
